On Saturday May 14 will be held the Opening Ceremony of the fourteenth edition of the Special Football League, a sports project created and organized by Asociacion Civil Andar.
Special Football League, with more than 5000 participants, is the most important football tournament for people with disabilities in our country. Currently the league is developed in 9 seat of our country (Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Black River, Tucumán, Misiones, Jujuy, Entre Rios and Catamarca). Furthermore, this project began to transcend national borders and is currently taking place in Chile and Peru. Special Football League is a project created by the Civil Partnership Walk, which uses football as a tool of transformation and social inclusion. This is an initiative that generates a football tournament which takes place consistently, which provides equal opportunities to all its participants.
The mission is to develop community spaces for the participation of people with disability and the use of football for all persons regardless of their limitations, age and sex. From soccer develop values, promoting the rights of persons with disabilities, improving the health of athletes and generates a networking among different organizations working in this area.
Fiesta will be held in the Opening Ceremony of the Special Football League based in Buenos Aires, where this year involved more than 1200 players from different teams across the province. This activity will take place from Saturday May 14 10 am. in Farm Sports of Utah, located at Av Gaona and Puente Márquez Moreno.
entire community is invited to participate in an event that is consolidated at the national level as an inclusive proposal, which generate opportunities for participation for people with disabilities.
