This short story was published today in the journal Cultural Sphere.
H ay a voice inside you, quiet and gentle, trying to be heard. Tirelessly asks you what you already know but do not want to admit. Sometimes loses his cool, tired of being ignored, and angry cry reverberates throughout your being. Then you try to give an answer that is binding, mute and bewildered, without ever breaking out.
This knot is that you press the throat to strangle you when you move the chair, and left on air.
