The sporting project created in 1998 by the Civil Partnership Walk opens a new year by inviting all the organization to join the "greatest football movement for people with disabilities in our country and Latin America."
The Civil Partnership Walk is a social organization of Moreno, Province of Buenos Aires that works to create innovative opportunities for creative development of the potential of disabled people through work, sport, culture , art and health, to improve their quality of life, strengthen family ties and inclusion. That is why working tirelessly for 25 years in the program successfully promotes the rights of persons with disabilities. In
1998 creates the Special Football League is a national landmark, calling 5000 children, youth and adults with disabilities from 12 provinces of our country. 80 organizations are part of an innovative movement that has managed to transcend national boundaries. This project also reached out to countries like Peru and Chile.
The League provides opportunities for participation on equal opportunities for all participants, creating a tournament of football matches with emotional quality and interaction among athletes, families, teachers and those relating to the participating organizations. No doubt the proposal not only aims to develop sports but the personal development of each youth, and strengthening each organization. The project has several sites around the country. The most important is that of Moreno (Buenos Aires), developed since 1998 and has a stake of more than 1200 athletes from Buenos Aires and Capital Federal. There are also offices in Mendoza, Capital Federal, Black River, Tucumán, Jujuy, Misiones and Entre Rios.
worth mentioning that the Football League are all part of the Football for Hope Festival, an official event of the FIFA World Cup - South Africa 2010. The project also has the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Nation, ADIDAS and Club Atlético River Plate. Being supported by organizations such as the Secretariat for Integration Policy of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Ministry of Sports of the Province of Buenos Aires and FADDIM, among others. About
part of this movement are invited to join the 2011 Season Football League Special, a sports project that continues to grow year after year, to be a successful tool for the full inclusion of people with disabilities. Notably League is a free and open to all stakeholders.
